Afridi congratulates PTI, requests opponent parties and media to accept results

Cricketer Shahid Afridi, aka Boom Boom, Tweeted on Thursday and congratulated Imran Khan and the party (PTI) on their huge victory in General Elections 2018.

His Tweet read, “Congrat PTI and Imran Khan on a truly historic victory.”

Afridi paid homage to the struggle of Khan and said, “The 22 yr old struggle has finally paid off & deservedly. He furthered, “Pakistanis have a lot of expectations from u I really hope u lead from the front.”

He concluded requesting all opponents and media to accept the results, “I request all opposing parties& media to accept the result and help rebuild.”

PTI is expected to make next government as the unofficial results of General Elections declared, while on the other hand, opponent parties cried foul.
