The independent candidate Abdul Hayi Dasti has been declared the winner of PP-270 Muzaffargarh 3 constituency after the conduct of vote recount on Saturday.
Previously, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had declared unofficial results of Elections and according to that Muhammad Ajmal Khan (Pakistan Awami Raaj (PAR) candidate) was the winner of PP-270 with a vote count of 17,669, while Dasti secured 17,645 votes and stood runner-up.
However, after a recount, Dasti is said to be the winner of PP-270 with a margin of 17 votes.
The recount has started across Pakistan in different constituencies including Faisalabad’s NA-108 and NA-106, Multan’s NA-154 and NA-157, NA-230 Badin, and NA-57 Murree.
