Sindh govt presents bill on providing emergency treatment to injured on top priority

KARACHI: The Sindh government on Thursday has presented a bill in the Assembly, suggested that all private and government hospitals should treat the injured first complete the paperwork later.

The bill has been proposed after the death of Amal Umer, who passed away in the wake of being hit by a fire of a policeman a year ago.

The bill also recommended that all private and government hospitals should treat the injured first and afterward complete the paperwork.

The bill stated that no hospital, either private or government, would reject the treatment of harmed and will give treatment on emergency basis.

It was also stated in the bill that each and every hospital should have two ambulances consolidating all most recent emergency treatment material and must have paramedical staff.

In a private hospital, the emergency treatment will be on the government and if the patient’s condition is not critical then he can be shifted to a government hospital.

The bill said that such cases will be taken up by sessions court and the speculate included will be captured.
