Five killed, 20 injured in horrific three-vehicle collision in Khuzdar

Published on: May 16, 2019 12:15 AM

A major road crash in the early hours of Wednesday killed at least five people at National Highway in Khuzdar; injuring twenty others.

According to sources, three passenger buses jammed into each other at Khuzdar’s area of Wadh, resulting in five deaths on the spot.

The deputy commissioner noted that bodies and injured were moved to the hospital for medical treatment.

Local police claimed that the dreadful incident occurred when a speeding bus collided into two other passenger buses parked alongside the road.

Earlier on February 6, at least 15 passengers had burnt to death as a passenger coach had burst into flames after smashing into a wagon at the Indus Highway in Karak.

The dreadful road mishap had occurred near Tabi Kho Stop when a Peshawar bound passenger coach from DI Khan had rammed into a wagon coming from the opposite side. At least 13 passengers had lost their lives on the spot.

While locals had reached the location soon after the incident and moved four injured passengers to a nearby medical facility, two more succumbed to their injuries.
