KHANEWAL: Three people were killed and two others sustained injuries in a road accident involving a tanker and a motorcycle rickshaw near Lahore Morr of Khanewal.
According to Khanewal Rescue 1122, three rickshaw passengers were killed on the spot while other two were seriously injured.
The injured people and bodies were rushed to the nearby hospital. However, both injured were referred to Nishtar Hospital, Multan, in critical condition.
The accident was so severe that the bodies got stuck in the motorcycle rickshaw which later were pulled out by rescue workers after cutting the body of the vehicle, told rescue officials.
Investigations are underway.
