Furthermore, local officials confirmed extensive damage in towns such as Sohmor, where more than 140 houses were either destroyed or severely damaged. The mayor of the town stated that many residents have returned to their homes but continue to live in fear amid ongoing instability and uncertainty.

In another affected area, Mashghara, residents reported that airstrikes hit residential zones, causing heavy destruction to property and infrastructure. One survivor described how a powerful explosion shattered windows and damaged homes shortly after he entered his house, highlighting the sudden and unpredictable nature of the attacks.

Meanwhile, medical and official sources reported that the ongoing conflict has resulted in a rising humanitarian toll across Lebanon. Since the beginning of the war, more than 2,000 people have reportedly been killed and over 7,000 injured, with civilians bearing the heaviest impact of the violence.

As the situation continues to escalate, local communities remain displaced and uncertain about future safety. Residents and officials alike are calling for urgent protection of civilians and renewed efforts toward stability as the humanitarian crisis deepens in the region.
