
A vehicle traveling in the convoy of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Faisal Rathore was involved in a AJK PM Convoy Accident after it fell into a ravine in the Chhanjal area of Haveli Kahuta. The incident resulted in the death of one police officer, while four others were injured.
According to the prime minister’s spokesperson, the accident occurred as the convoy was returning from Khurshidabad. Rescue teams responded immediately and shifted the injured personnel to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
The spokesperson confirmed that the deceased was a police officer assigned to the convoy’s security detail. The four injured officers are receiving treatment, although no further information about their condition has been released.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the accident. An investigation is expected to determine the circumstances that led to the vehicle leaving the road and falling into the ravine.
