
Iran has released images of eight civilians who were killed during US Strikes on Hormozgan, accusing the United States of targeting civilian infrastructure and causing civilian casualties. Iranian officials said the victims included women and people with disabilities.
According to Iranian media, the eight victims included four women and four men, among them two brothers with disabilities. The fatalities were reported after US strikes in Iran’s Hormozgan Province.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said in a post on X that the United States targeted bridges during what he described as illegal overnight attacks in Hormozgan. He claimed the strikes killed eight innocent civilians and called the incident an open war crime.
Baghaei added that the Iranian people are now more united and determined than ever and are prepared to respond to what he described as criminal aggression against their country.
Separately, Iran’s foreign minister also released photographs of three civilians who were reportedly killed in Bandar Khamir. According to the minister, the victims were crossing a bridge when they were struck. He said the blood of those killed in the US Strikes on Hormozgan would not be forgotten and vowed that Iran would continue defending the country.
