Iran says 38 killed, over 400 injured in US strikes

Iran’s Health Ministry said at least 38 people have been killed and more than 400 injured since US strikes resumed on June 22. The updated casualty figures highlight the growing human cost of the conflict. Civilians, including women and children, are among those affected, according to Iranian officials.

Health Ministry spokesman Hossein Kermanpour announced the figures in a post on X. He said the number of injured has exceeded 400 since the start of the latest US attacks. Iranian authorities described those killed as martyrs and said hospitals continue treating the wounded.

According to the ministry, the casualties include 22 injured women and three women who were killed. Officials also reported that nine people under the age of 18 were injured. One person under 18 was among those killed during the attacks.

The latest figures come as hostilities between Iran and the United States continue following the resumption of military operations on June 22. Both sides have exchanged accusations over the escalating conflict. Independent verification of the reported casualty figures was not immediately available.
